ASSOCIATE MEMBER PROCESS

If you are interested in Sigma Tau Gamma or Greek Life in general, we encourage all undergraduate men to participate in Rush. Rush typically takes place during the first three to five weeks of each semester, allowing you to explore all the fraternities at Michigan Tech. After Rush and upon receiving a Bid (a formal invitation to join a fraternity), our associate members participate in an associate member process. It lasts for four weeks, in which you will meet the brotherhood and learn about our principles. During this process, you will have big brothers and new member educators to assist and guide you through the process. We do not believe in hazing, and do not participate in any type of hazing.
